Privacy Statement

Welcome to the LEAD Safety Culture Survey developed by the Office of Industrial Relations in collaboration with Curtin University and the University of Queensland. This survey is designed to help you measure your organisation’s safety culture and provides you a comparison against other organisations.

This is an online survey suitable for any organisation or business with 6 or more people in any industry. The survey cannot be downloaded and filled out in hard copy.

As the administrator of the survey for your organisation you will be able to:

Confidentiality

Data is stored in the LEAD Culture Survey application database hosted on secure servers maintained by Curtin University in Western Australia. Access to the database is restricted to the LEAD Culture Survey collaboration partners (the Office of Industrial Relations, Curtin University and the University of Queensland) as well as the database system administrators.

The survey data provided by your organisation will assist in building an industry benchmark and increase understanding of safety culture in Queensland workplaces. Any statistics regarding use of the safety culture tool for the collaboration partners’ corporate knowledge purposes will be compiled at a group level (i.e. number of businesses using the tool by size and industry).

We will only use your information for the purposes described (above). It will otherwise not be used or disclosed unless authorised or required by law. Survey participants are asked not to  provide any information in this survey that would enable the identity of an individual to be ascertained.
